Non-bank cross-border receipts, payments rising in August

China's cross-border receipts and payments by non-bank entities, including enterprises and individuals, totaled $1.5 trillion last month, extending a relatively swift growth since the beginning of this year.

Cross-border capital recorded a net inflow of $62.4 billion in August, rising four percent month-on-month, according to latest data released by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.

Cross-border receipts and payments data reflect the level of activity in a nation's cross-border trade, investment and financing.
