Power battery application exhibition opens in Yibin during annual world conference

An exhibition focusing on power battery applications kicked off on Thursday as part of the ongoing 2026 World Power Battery Conference in Yibin, Sichuan province.

The 2026 Power Battery Application Ecosystem Exhibition, which runs through Sunday, has drawn over 200 companies across the power battery industry chain from countries including Spain, the United States, France, and Germany.

Covering more than 50,000 square meters, the exhibition features dedicated zones for power batteries and materials, international exhibitors, energy storage, embodied intelligence, the low-altitude economy, and new energy vehicles, showcasing cutting-edge technologies, innovative products, and benchmark application scenarios.

In the power batteries and materials zone, industry giant CATL and other leading companies are showcasing next-generation battery technologies and key links across the supply chain. The international exhibitors zone has Spain as the guest country of honor with a dedicated pavilion.

The embodied intelligence zone draws crowds with a range of intelligent robots capable of playing electronic keyboards, carrying heavy items, processing components in factories, playing Chinese chess, and selling ice cream. The new energy vehicle zone gathers major brands such as Tesla, BYD, and Nio, with more than 100 popular models on display.

Yibin is one of the world's largest power battery production bases, with a production capacity exceeding 300 GWh. The city has formed a complete industrial chain from raw materials to battery pack assembly and recycling.
